Thanks Bob & Karma :) Ugh.. well they didn't bring pressies but they did bring wine.. oh my head. It went ok although I did get a bit fed up with my aunty telling me about all the wonderful things my cousins had been doing - think cousins were a bit embarrassed as well.

Ah well, guess it will work itself out eventually. I really feel for you Pepe in your situation, but as you say you can see how it goes - am sure no Greek God will be as nice as you ;)

Better do some work I suppose.. yawn!

Thanks Squizz, that is such a nice thing to say:kisses3: .
If she decides that Greece is just an extended holiday with her sis ( she did try to live there before coming to UK, it didn't work on her own ) and I can persuade her to come back here then that makes it easier. Can but hope.

You will suddenly have a flash of inspiration and your whole sitation will become clear, I'm sure.
Who is the most important person in YOUR life, Squizz? You or ex/OH?
You too sound too good to be dragged through an emotional swamp;)
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

Aww thankyou Pepe xx Missed this post yesterday for some reason, I don't think the notification thingy was working properly. Anyway, you are right that I need to put myself first, and I do know that I don't want to carry on with this situation any more. Been reluctant to admit this but I did sort of hint at it the other day and you are all my friends so...... one of the final nails in the coffin was that a really good (male) friend asked me out for a drink (not knowing if I was still with ex/OH) and I thought that I 'shouldn't' because I'm with somebody.. but I really want to :o And if I'm honest I probably will - I just want to finish things properly first as it doesn't seem fair on anyone otherwise. Even if nothing comes of it, it's made me realise that I want the freedom to move on and either be happy on my own, or find someone else.. and who knows, it could be the start of something wonderful... I have to admit despite all the stress and sadness, I am feeling a bit butterflies in my stomach-y... :smileyhea :o

In other news - payday today! :j And last day of work! :j And I am choked up with the cold!

Hope everyone has a good day x

    Go for it Squizz!!!
Sounds just like my sit in many ways. If Iustina was not moving away then the same decisions would HAVE to be taken in this house.
thanks for listening Squizz. Pepe xxx

  • Aargh, just wrote a long post and lost it, damn internet on stupid mobile phone! Short version then - me ill, coughing lots, been in bed for 14 hours but must get up and do stuff soon. Ex/OH round yesterday, was initially nice, I felt guilty, but then he was stroppy about me wanting to go and sleep cos I was ill. CBOH (that's a 'could be') was in touch earlier and full of concern and sympathy. No-brainer really, isn't it? Anyway, better get up and do some stuff as lots to do before I head North on Weds. Have a lovely Sunday x

Thats the no-brainer then! And you're doing this on your mobile? Wow ... I'm tres impressed. You're up north on Wednesday? I'm a day earlier, on Tuesday, but my "up north" is your latitude!

You conserve your energy today, hear me???? :naughty: :grouphug:

  • Thanks Karma, think all I'm doing today is packing. Yep I leave very early Weds morning, from 'up north' to 300 miles or so further north! Just spotted grocery challenge in my sig, lost count in last few weeks but I think it's around £250, maybe a bit more, and I doubt I'll buy anything else now. Over target but still quite pleased with that!

  • Definately a no brainer then. Sorry you are still going through it Squizz(((hugs))I have ups and downs myself at the moment and was awake until about 4am..not good, but then again i don't feel tired. Must be all the sleep i have been getting and the body is rebelling now..lol.
Hope your trip turns out to be a good one and you find some answers to your current dilemma.

Hugs to you too Bob. Hope your sleeping pattern settles down again soon. Keep remembering things I was meaning to post on here, like my final Christmas present total... *drumroll* ... £18.14! :)
