Complaints about how we run this forum

Hi guys

Regarding a thread we recently removed and the subsequent complaints, please remember the MoneySavingExpert forum isn't a free speech forum. So many thousands of posts are removed each day we just can't go around leaving explanations for every one, there isn't time. We'd much rather spend our time helping people save money than having to write out explanations like this every time something's removed.

If you have an issue with why a discussion or post has been removed please email [EMAIL="abuse@moneysavingexpert.com"]abuse@moneysavingexpert.com[/EMAIL] and ask (nicely please!). You're much more likely to get your answer than by complaining on here.

If it's a general criticism you have about the way we run things then please feel free to post it on the Forum Policy board, after all that's what it's there for.

And please don't take it out on our VOLUNTEER board guides who we ask to remove whole posts/threads and specifically not to remove the content.
