kaz - wow, lets just hope what he's said sticks when he gets home!
hollyh ((hugs)) hope they go soon x
Johanne, great idea, I was inspired to get one after a friend of mine originally from Africa used one with her little ones, worked very well for me
Mudbath good luck to you and your DD, well done on getting your OH to put the table back up, my partners forever interfering where he's not wanted (that's what it basically is when he wants to fling something we use but he doesn't) and it gets right on my nerves.
Argh eekkk and poo, I'm supposed to be at a conference tomorrow, which is very important (these ones will play a key part in how services work for disabled children in our area in the future, hopefully) and I can't find where I am supposed to be, oh bother. I've sent a panic email to one of the organisers hoping she'll get it, which I doubt, argh! I'm supposed to be there by 10am so after I get back with the dogs I'll be phoning trying to find out where I am supposed to beI should have checked the calendar earlier.
Oh and I am in, sort of, aswell as conference and other appointments (I know there is some just haven't checked where/when/what for yet) I have the assignment to complete by Wednesday (due in then but can travel to drop it off on the night if required) ARGH!!! It's going to be one of those 'headless chicken routine' weeks.
Diggerland went well, didn't rain but I got wet because the 'train' went through a puddle and muddy water splashed up the back of my legs. DS2 nearly fell out of the JCB but was caught, he was head to toe in mud last year after falling head first from the landrover, year before he did it out of the JCB so he came back quite clean. Will upload some photos on Facebook later. One day I might be more organised...........

Mudbath Good luck for your exam tomorrow.
Hugs to all those who need them.0 -
I'm in - really must do better this week. Was praying it was the kitchen tomorrow when I was sweeping the floor wiping the table and cleaning the kitchen sink today.
Good luck Mudbath for your exam
Hex/Germish - I've only ebayed 4 things so far but I can advise to start with a couple of things first so as not to overwhelm yourself. A few friends of mine told me the best time to end auctions is a Sunday night - apparently more people are on at that time.Go on - be brave and give it a go!
hollyh - if he had migraines he definately wouldn't say that - they are horrendous and you just can't do anything with one! Maybe there's something making them worse at the moment - stress or a particular food maybe - fresh orange juice used to set me off as a child.
Off to watch the rest of Heroes that we sky+'d in the week. Night all.
ETA - If anyone sees me on tomorrow please tell me to update my grocery challenge signature. Think I'm still within budget so would be interesting to add it all up and see.0 -
I'm in this week - I need to be if fairrrm-lee are coming down next weekend.
But right at this moment, I'm in Lil-me's dormouse mode so need to crawl in my pit and sleep - perchance to dream etc. etc.

Twins are asleep, pack ups done so I am off duty.
Anyone for a nightcap?
I am feeling relatively organised. I have ordered the twins school trousers and jumpers for September(the M&S 3 for 2 deal along with the £10 codes and quidcomade them v.reasonable). I still need to get some T-shirts and jumpers from their school though ( for official school events type stuff).
The logo on their uniforms is lovely but the quality of the sweaters is carp.
I wish I was handy with a needle cos I would embroider my own, if I could.
Sewing buttons on is about the level of my needlework skillsTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
