Winter's back with a vengeance this weekend so I think I'll have to arrange to have the chimney swept as soot is constantly falling down.

We were thinking of having our gas fire whipped out and an open fire put back in. Many many years since I had an open fire..is soot droppage (sp!) a major issue?

    Im in.....

In the past hour i just made £64.69 on ebay... :j :j (granted will be less once take fees etc into account.. but shall post an updated amount later in the week when all paid for and posted etc )

I have ALMOST finished list from last week so this week should be easier to catch up on. Specially as i now have my new secret weapon - a babasling! :D

No i aint lost the plot.. thats what its called..... my cleaning/eating/general doing anything has been hindered of late by a nosey 8 week old who wants to constantly be held so she can look about and see whats going on.. so ive invested in a sling... so now i can flylady with my flybaby strapped to my front! Its just like being pregnant again except shes a bit heavier now:rotfl: Have already tried it today and actually managed to bake a batch of cookies and a dozen fairy cakes whilst wearing it... granted she got a little flour in her hair but nothing a bath didnt fix :o Will have to post a pic later.

ONLY problem this week is OH is on nights... so nothing too noisy can be done as he'll be sleeping all day and cant tackle the bedroom this week :( He is doing overtime tonight and just text to ask if it was ok to do overtime tue night too as the "extra money will come in handy"... so thats one more day ive got to try be quiet all day and bang goes my plans of a family day out tuesday that i made as part of my weekend list last week cos he'll need to sleep instead :(

OOOOOoooooooooooh well........ off to make my tea... at 21:50!!

    I am soooo pi55ed off

I just did a huge post with loads of replies and links and every thing, went to submit and my connection dropped off and I lost the lost so   .

So back to the usual hugs and hello's and welcomes back to all those requiring one.

Spoke to OH tonight who had done 350 miles back from Italy into France. He has said its really made him appreciate the things we take so much for granted. He planned his route to avoid motorways so has experienced real France and he said to see and smell the countryside has been fab, the farmers turning the hay in the fields, smelling the aroma from each different field and stuff like that. The best bit is its made him realise that he doesnt want me to spend all my spare time washing cooking cleaning etc and he has said we are going to take more time out to do stuff together as a family. There is a god after all :A

He's still got another 350 miles across France to do tomorrow and then another 200 in the UK but is still hoping to be back tomorrow night so I'd like to have it nice for him.

    Of to
    • sort uniforms
    • make packed lunches
    • finish putting shopping away
    • sort basket of socks and undies
    • package parcel for his friends little girls birthday tomorrow
    • S/S kitchen
    • S/S dining room
    • Put hoover away
New toy arrives tomorrow as well. If anyone has wood floors and wants a quick brush through every day these are brill. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-7149.aspx My old one lasted 2 years (the smaller version) and the kids LOVE using it :D
