Just seen this thread, I won at 10.45 after doing a few clicks, now not sure if I have won or not.

I guess it will be a case of waiting and seeing if they honour the wins or not

the real odd thing that strikes me is its microsoft isnt it?,i mean surley a company like that would be hacker proof?wouldnt you think so? it strikes me as very very odd, considering what a proffesional company they are.

I think the arguing on here is showing a lot of bad sports. There were people winning £3000 of vouchers on Big Snap and there were some who didn't win a bean - did we have all this arguing then!?

It's obvious the site is broken anyway - I hope they honour everyone's first win at least, but playing on when you KNOW it's broken is a bit silly. I still don't see the problem with playing on when it's not, though...? Calling other posters selfish is rude in my opinion and certainly not in the spirit of MSE (or the collosal Big Snap search thread!!)

Yes, there's always arguments on these sort of comps - it's worse than Big Brother

I had a little click last night and won, but I did it just for the joy of seeing the 'you've won' words and it cheered me up although I knew I hadn't :D

What i would like to point out is that this is MICROSOFT, it is supposed to be the best computer software in the world, what a farce, when the problem first occured they were emailed by many telling them there was a problem, if they had shut the site early on, they could have honoured the first lot of winners without disappointing people, but they chose to keep the site dishing out winners for hours, i can shut my website down in minutes if i want to, why cannot Microsoft??? I think they perhaps chose to keep it open knowing that if there was too many winners, they wouldn't have to honour any of them, which tells me when buying Microsoft it isn't really as good as it claims. They should be prepared for hackers, they are Microsoft after all and leaving the site open for hours and hours after a problem is just a joke!!!
