ok picture it this way,the people from microsoft get in monday they will check see whose won, when they see theres so many, who do you think they will pick to win? someone whos been xtremley greedy or someone thats genuinley just won one? i know which id pick! It`s getting to the point0
-
in my eyes it hasd nothing to do with bad sportsi said earelier i dont do these instant win games because my time is better spent elsewhere thankyouI think the arguing on here is showing a lot of bad sports. There were people winning £3000 of vouchers on Big Snap and there were some who didn't win a bean - did we have all this arguing then!?
It's obvious the site is broken anyway - I hope they honour everyone's first win at least, but playing on when you KNOW it's broken is a bit silly. I still don't see the problem with playing on when it's not, though...? Calling other posters selfish is rude in my opinion and certainly not in the spirit of MSE (or the collosal Big Snap search thread!!)
so i'm not losing out
its others who spend all day ion here trying to win and gain nothing and others who spend all day on here still and win 3
like i said its a game of greed and not luck and some people have to see what is morally right.
someonme taking everything is certanilty not in the spirit of MSE if you want to go go down that route
and from my dictionary SELFISH.
is the correct word used0 -
As ridiculous as it sounds, my waking thought this morning was that I hope it's still broken.
If there's no point in playing, I can get on and do other things. However, when it was working, the lure was too great and I sat on here for hours and hours non stop!! The kids will be relieved that they are getting something to eat today and will have clean uniforms for tomorrow.
On the point of repeated wins, I would be happy with one and would stop playing if I won one. However, I don't really see anything wrong if people choose to continue. We don't know what people's circumstances are but say, for example, someone was really struggling to make ends meet and this was their way of getting Xmas sorted for various of relatives, then I don't have a problem with that.
Hopefully, they'll get it sorted and there'll be enough to go around us all.08 wins £3000+ :j09 wins £4408:j2010 (6 months off) £2004:j2011 £10,003 :j 2012 - £6013 :j2013 wins £8500 :j 2014 £5530 so far....0 -
This is going to be my last comment on the subject as I'd already said what I wanted to say but I'm a little annoyed by some peoples posts on here.
There is a certain individual who shall remain nameless who is being very rude indeed and needs to go away and have a think about the comments they are posting. It's becoming a little agressive in tone and content and all they are doing is making themselves look like a complete a*** IMO.
Also, I don't think people should comment on other people's signature wins. Some people have won a tremendous amount of prizes on here and completed the £2008 challenge already. Should they now stop so everyone else can have a chance to win something? No. Thats what comping is all about - luck of the draw and taking part in the first place.
Nobody had anything to say apart from "Congratulations" when people won £THOUSANDS on the big snap and I know there were more chances of wining but some people still won zilch.
We all know the site is broken so please - for goodness sake (and to stop the bickering on here) don't go back on until tomorrow when hopefully things will be resolved.
So, after winning nothing on the big snap, indie or the new kung fu panda site I'm now going off to spend my time doing more comps so I can hopefully complete my 2008 challenge and maybe spend some time feeding my OH and the kids..............
Here endeth the sermon.LBM 1st May 2012 £53,839

As for being rude I darent say so
Calling someone selfish or being selfish(which is worst?)
As for the congrats on the big snap thread it was something i didnt do either0 -
I get easily fed up with these comps and very rarely enter them but this morning I did and was delighted to have 'won'. I had a wee look here and could not believe it's broken and everyone and their Granny has won!
Remember Bill Gates is retiring - maybe it's a farewell gift!!
p.s. Each to their own but I'm happy with just the one win.0 -

I congratulate the people who've won more than once....they obviously have the time and patience to play.
someone on here, can't remember who, won one of the itv comps the other day. they asked if they could enter again. people were saying yes, go for it. Personally I don't see how it's any different. comping is all about luck. you get back what you put in. and as with snap, if there's nothing in the rules to stop you winning more than once, then the promoters are obviously happy for people to win more than once so we should be too
this is where i'm going to sound hypocritical
as for the itv comps thats a game of luck so cant really be compared.
theres one thing by playing fairly and the other of buying all the tickets which minimzes other peoples chance of winning something
these search comps are microsofts way of getting into the search engine market after losing out to buy yahoo or and/google
so clicks to them is just trying to tap into the market
i mena who in their right mind uses msn search
its rubbish0 -
argghhhh, it seemd fixed after midnight now its gone bezerk again
I hope the genuine winners overnight will be honoured. 0
