where is my virgin.net account number?

Needing help finding this elusive number!! Have searched the account screens to no avail. The billing screen is temporarily out of action but I was hoping it would be on the top of one of them... I tried to contact them to ask but I need the a/c number to do this. Even tried going through a different link like technical support messaging but it comes back undelivered. I need the account number to then contact them with it to get a migration code to swap to sky.... please help me!

The Virgin help section says "call our Customer Services team on 0800 052 9406 who will be happy to confirm your account number to you."

many thanks for your quick reply. I'd tried that but the phone number has changed to an 0845 number. Phoned that but hours are now closed. Will try in the morning though. Is the account number on anything at all??!!!

we don't get any bills - all automated online. thanks though! Honestly, I've tried VERY hard to find it! I swear it doesn't exist!!!

I came to Virgin from Telewest so I dont know if it is the same.

My account number is on the email sent to let me know that the monthly statement is ready and when I sign in it is on every page that I look at re the statement.

Thanks for that suggestion - tried the ebill link but doesn't work as i don't have the UKcalls service. We joined Dec 2006 on a monthly basis (no contract) so they don't bill us, just DD out every month. Have stopped the DD but still need a/c number to transfer.
Any other suggestions!!!!!! Will phone that number again though again....

Virgin ADSL "helpline" for faults is 0800 052 4329 the recorded message says "press 2 to speak to a member of our team"

thanks - thought this was a go=er! tried it but then the automated response suggests three further numbers (0906 numbers) for specific probs.
Next....?

ps. the other phone line I'm trying - 0845 454 1111 is closed on sundays....

Or try http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php and enter Virgin Media as the search criteria. This gives lots of Nos. Good luck.

that's great - the number that comes up for the MAC code is closed on sundays but will def try tomorrow........hope they can do it without an account number though!! WATCH THIS SPACE!! Thanks everyone!!
