Help! Laptop running very slow!

Hi, Can anyone help? My laptop is running so very, very slow and I cant find out why? Can anyone advise on a free diagnostic tool that I can use - please bear in mind I am not very techy, so it needs to be easy to understand and follow! Thanks in advance, Karen

As people have said download Ad-Aware Home Edition free and easey to use. Make sure your fan is not clogged up with fluff, as this can cause overheating and slowing down of the computer. Have you got a tower or lap top.

If i could i would, but i cannot so i wont, but maybe one day i will.
