Anyone having trouble? I'm starting to panic a bit as i've got a mystery shop in a couple of days
Thank-you! Its not just me then! I've got one coming up to so I have emailed them and tried ringing - but its busy (hopefully we are not alone!). :rolleyes:0 -

I booked online and paid by debit card (there is only an additional fee for paying by credit card). Next time I will pay by credit card as it would be give a month or so of free credit and you also get protection under S.75 of the Consumer Credit Act if you pay by credit card. (but not if you pay by debit card).
OK
Here's some proper advice from an experienced shopper who has been doing these flights for at least two years.
1) You get re-reimbursed the next MONTH after the flight, so if you've booked one today (3rd July) you will get re-imbursed on the 25th AUGUST.
Hope you can wait that long....(Flight tickets can cost from £300 up to £3000.......)
2) Use the airlines own credit card and then there is no fee (However the total cost of the ticket:- including the fee- is paid by the MS company so any credit card will do. So Use a good CASHBACK card.
3)I am not sure if the MS company would have paid the travel insurance though.
4) You get travel expenses TO and FROM the originating airport only, so if you leave your destination airport you have to pay the costs.
5) There is NO fee for this job and you probably will lose some money in the exchange rate (Company pays in Euros-your bank converts this.).
If anyone wants more (good ) information then PM me.

But, with them you get a date and you have from the first of the month until that date to carry out. Sure its fine.
OMG - I'm really sorry - I didn't realise. I've edited the post so hopefully that should be OK. Thanks so much - hope not everyone saw my indiscretion!
As long as the date thing is OK then I'm going to see if I can fit a few more around the time I go then. I'm happy with that.0 -

If so let's hope I get lots of work from them! it says the assignment has to be done by 17 June 2008 - I haven't had to choose a date or time. Is this right do you think?
Ellie, are these the jos where you have to go the bank, then to one of its competitor banks straight after and compare the 2?
Let me know how you get on, I was offered one of these but it was quite a distance from me so wasn't really worth it to basically do two shops. If it's wuite straightforward though I may consider it if it pops up again!
Good luck with it anyway0 -

I did the bowling one as my first and only job for OC so far. the job was easy enough to do and I gave a really bad (content not quality!) report and never had anything queried. Payment is nice and quick too from OC. Hope it goes well for you!0
