I think this is an excellent idea, as very often the answers can become so repetitive to write. I have some like

The rep told me about the 0% balance transfer rate / reward points scheme / 24 hour customer satisfaction number.

The team member acknowledged me with eye contact and a genuine smile.

Once I has asked for a receipt for my meal, I was able to take a seat and enjoy the show.

Okay so the last one isn't one I have actually used, but isn't it tempting!

Having a thread with useful phrases sounds a great idea, if I ever get an assignment where they want me to fill in any comments I will hopefully think of something good and post it there.
Which reminds me, does anybody know how long Bare take to assign? My requests still show as pending, would be so nice to get started.
Have only ever done some calls so far.

how long is a piece of string?!! You can't tell, I've had some assigned within hours but other can take over a week. I too have a few pending and they have been like that for days - they don't like you emailing them to chase them up though - just have to wait and see.

I filled out lots of the application forms for the different companies on Friday. Three days later I've done 4 shops! The computer one twice, which makes it easier...
Just one query, I applied for Gapbuster as it seems to get good reviews, but haven't heard anything yet. How long do they take to reply, and do they let you know either way?

It's such a rubbish way of doing it really. They should at leasthave some sort of deadline for assigning. It makes it hard when you have applied for a job to be done by a certain time, then you don't apply for something wlse on that day in case you get it, then you don't get it. It makes it hard to plan stuff. I have applied for a flight so am keeping my fingers crossed for that!!

I'm hoping that by doing that one the other week with the credit check and the recording I will have moved myself up the list a little bit!!

I soo agree, not that I have a lot to plan around at the moment, good luck on the flight job and when:j you get it, a blow by blow account would be great, maybe as a pm?:T if everyone else has heard it all before?

I don't think I know anyone that has not been accepted! But, I think I applied over a weekend and found out a couple of days later. Sure all will be well! Congrats on jumping in with both feet on your first weekend of ms-ing!

Just wondering... where else have you been looking for MSing information cos I'm pretty sure I haven't seen ay good reviews of Gap on here! :rotfl: :rotfl:
