    Hiya

Sorry if this has been asked before. Would doing MSing have an affect on your tax credits?

I have two part time jobs (not self employed) which dont add up to much, would I still be able to do something like this seeing as its classed as self emplyed?

    Thanks

mrs mosschops - yes you can do this. You have three months after you start to declare to the IR that you are self-employed and they will want to know your expected yearly income, but after a month you should be able to estimate this. You then must tell the child tax credit peeps too - but personally this has not effected my credits award.

Check out Timmnes great sticky post at the start of the thread for a beginners guide to tax - here

    Sinderella

I am with you, You get X as long as X is smaller than Y (Y is your actual spend) Now if Y is bigger than X, you get X, if Y is smaller than X you get Y.
Unlike Gap where you always get X no matter what Y is.
Shall I introduce Z?:rotfl: sorry sinders I am just bored today!

Its the 8gb I want - and I think that would be ample for me tbh as I have an ipod too.
There was aprogram on TV about this, sorry I didn't follow it but apparently there is a new Nokia which is better than both! I would wait if I was you give it 6 months and you get the phone free on a 30 pounds contract!

I'm having problems again updating results with GFK. The system seems really slow to move forward pages and then just stops. This has happened with my previous two assignments, I'm getting very frustrated! Is anyone else having these problems or can anybody advise what I'm doing wrong.

    Thanks

Stand there, flop it out and just say "bloomin' prostate..." every so often. :)

Seriously, if there is a cubicle I head for that and scribble down a few notes if I need to, or just stand there and adjust my belt a few times so it sounds like something is going on (in a non-dodgy way).

If there's no cubicle then maybe just wash my hands or throw away any litter in my pockets.

Normally they want you to assess the actual cubicles too (cleanliness/loo roll etc) so you need to go in one.
