The mystery shopping thread - part 4

Has anyone had an email from Gap about their bookies and whether you have a loyalty card? The loyalty card was a trial in our area, so I thought I may as well get one, if I'm going to continue doing these jobs, a little bit of a perk, tho you have to spend loads to get anything.
Anyway, the email asked if you had a card, what the no. was and do you use it etc and I just thought, whilst Gap haven't actually said don't use it, I wondered if they might remove you from doing those jobs if you say you have one? I've just deleted, but wondered whether I should have just said no? thoughts from anyone else who has one and does these jobs?0 -
Wow!!!
I finally saw one! No not a lesser spotted grufflesnonk, but a GR assignment. I was nit picking DD2s hair when it came on, so missed it, and although I checked after 10 minutes of receiving the email, by pure chance, it had gone already!!! They truly are rarer than rocking horse cacka, but it's the first I've ever seen so quite excited even though it wasn't available!Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

Can I just say I love ISC, I have done 2 jobs for them now with good fees compared to the others and after each report you get a grading of your assignment report ...... how scared was I when I opened that email wondering what grade I would get, phew I got a 'very good', which I was quite disappointed in until I realised it was their top grade :rotfl:made me feel like I was back at school and got an A++ :T
Now who's the sad one
I think I have record number of jobs booked over the next few weeks which is good as its usually so quiet round here that I only get a couple a month! So I will be using that phrase thread to the max I thinkSealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

I got the same e-mail but I haven't replied. I got one of these cards on the first bookie job I did. I'm doing another 10 in August and wouldn't mind using the card but not sure if I'm supposed to. Will read through the brief again to say whether it says anything. If I don't win anything out of 10 jobs Im obviously not cut out to be a gambler - though with the amount I've got to bet I'll hardly be breaking the bank!!!! Not sure who advised me though but someone said to put a bet on one to win, one to lose and one to draw - might win something then lol
Managed to get a supermarket job on GR yesterday which was good. Going to have a look if there's anything else around this morning. Have a good day all x0 -
can I ask which companies it is that book so far ahead? I'm with RE and GfK but neither of them seems to have anything more than a week in advance. It would be nice to be able to book things in a little further ahead if possible.Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000

I've just found out why hardly any jobs come up on GR.
I queried with them why I never get offered a certain supermarket and apparently they only send out the jobs to a few shoppers who live the nearest. If they get no response they will send out to a few more until it's covered.
I'm 15 miles away from two of these so they never get to me.
Anyway they've told me to add the addresses of the shop to my profile and I should be at the top of the list next time.0 -
Hi, have been asked to do a job for amber but the outlay is big. They have stated they will reimburse me within 3 days. Anyone had any experience of them paying?PPI Reclaimed -

Daydreambeliever - can I just check, do you mean add the addresses on the page where it asks for, say, a work address?
I'm just wondering, is it ok to just put in the actual address of the shop, or do you have to use a house? If I put in a supermarket, would they assume I work there and so wouldn't give me jobs for that shop?0 -
Scaredy Cat,
Yes, that page where you can add 5 addresses.
He said to put the shop address - even told me to look the postcode up on yell.com.
Where you have to put if it's a work address or whatever I put 'address for assignments' but thinking about it, it would probably be better to not put the actual shop address but something close just in case.0
