Agree about the reports being a pain! I rarely do anything on a Thursday as there is no way I am missing Heroes! :D
I think that is the trick that some people who have been doing this for long has learned. Some jobs say will pay twice as much but will take 3 times as much time to report are not worth it. The best ones I found by far are TNS supermarket they can take as little as 10 min to write up.
Audits are also good when you just have to tick boxes.

Love the audits too as tend to be quick and you take the form with you - so no remembering!

Guys a quick tip would be if you don't have one already and either fancy investing in one or are close to getting an upgrade on your phone, GET A PDA!

I used mine the other night for the first time whilst doing a cinema audit and I had typed the results and emailed them to the company before I'd even left my seat!

Brilliant bit of kit and I now love mine - shall be using it to increase my capacity for the future methinks!

When I first started I thought about getting one (not the phone but Palm one) then I thought that to connect it either finding a WiFi spot which is the cheapest option or to have a monthly contract?

    I had £128 from GfK today, love.y.

£350 from GfK for me today! Lovely Jubbley! :D

The amount doesn't quite tally with what I was expecting; how long does it take for a payment to show in the 'my details' section?

Not sure - as sending an email can be done through GPRS, it can't possibly use that much data (and therefore cost)

Wifi's fine but you have to consider who has wifi - the cinema didn't so I'd have struggled to be so efficient without the GPRS connection!

I don't know a lot about PDAs TBH but I know you can pick an O2 XDA orbit for not a lot per month and they're great. Mine's an Orange SPV E650 and it's brill - slide out keyboard makes it easy to type!

I think that is defenitly something to invest on, especially if I want to keep on top of booking the best assignments!

I have a question about the BAI flights - when you have applied for these have you applied for both out and inbound flights, or just the outbound? Obviously if you do one you do the other, but as these are listed on the job board separately have you actually applied for both? And doing it whichever way - did you get the job?

    Thanks

Did anyone else get less than they were expecting from GFK?

I did masses of travel ticket jobs for them, and I'm a good few hundered pounds short on my payment. The statement isn't online yet, so I'm not sure what has been paid and what I'm still owed.
Here I go again on my own....
