Keep it quiet, don't want the boss to find out!
There were a few b*tchy posts on a thread I was reading yesterday. :eek:0 -
The thread you are referring to blindman was a very controversial thread and allowed for people to voice their own opinions. Like in any Office, things can get a bit heated, but there is always someone around to calm things down  and there are plenty of other places in the Office to have a lounge or do some work :cool:0

Yes, the pay can be absolutely pants and personally I won't accept those jobs as I'm not prepared to work my !!!! off for nothing. In fact everybody has the perogative to accept the low fees or not. That doesn't mean to say that I didn't when I first started. As a newbie you tend to grab anything just to get some experience. It's when you have that experience and the company still treats you like a pile of excrement, which is when I get really
I personally think there is two issues here. The first being the low fees, which like I said, different fees are acceptable to different people, so it may be difficult to make a difference. The second issue is when you do a job and the company finds any excuse not to pay you (a bit like insurance companies lol), or you do a job where the customer service was diabolical, you report it the way it was and yet you get grief because you have the audacity to tell it how it is! Then, it starts getting to the "what is the point of doing this if I feel as though I have to lie" phase.0 -

If they do it to me again, that´ll be it. No more MS for me. I chose to accept the assignment at the stated fee, and now after I´ve done all the work, they reduce it by half because of something that wasn´t my fault.willowthecat wrote: »Yes, the pay can be absolutely pants and personally I won't accept those jobs as I'm not prepared to work my !!!! off for nothing. Taggie I was one of those that tried to register with a 'free' email address although I did actually pay for mine as its an upgraded account. I never use ISP accounts due to the nightmare of changing my email address (I change ISPs fairly regularly) so I don't have another to give, apart from my husbands which I set up so he has an incoming mail account.16 x Sanyo HIT 240w panels, 3.84kWp, south facing, 30 degree slope in the SW, 4.4 Eltek HE-t inverter installed 27/03/120

Thanks Taggie for explaining that..you are such a star!
As the admin of "The office" I can confirm that there was a thread running yesterday which did get some of our long standing members a little bit heated including myself. A few pointers from me.. If you have a plan to put forward then you must have some idea how the plan will proceed and when you are questioned ..retaliating with bad language is not the way forward IMO.
Now back to this thread...Timmne is doing a grand job on MSE and I see no reason why their dedicated members need anything more than what is provided here:T The Office is purely a meeting place like this one.
Have a good Friday everyone its nearly the weekend:j0 -

Quick query about flights. After assuming these were popular despite lack of fee, I haven't applied for any. I've now had an e-mail pleading for people, though still no actual fee.
Does anyone know how long these take to get assigned after you apply? I was considering trying to do one, and link it up with some other shops at the other end, but won't if they are like the car ones that sit pending for ever.
Can anyone help?:A Sealed Pot Challenge - number 263 :A0
