mot has nothing to do with the engines.
I used to be (5 years ago) into my hot hatches. Every now and then the engine light would come on. 9/10 i would find that disconnecting the battery and then taking each sensor off cleaning it up and putting it all back together would clear the fault.
After 1 hour put the battery on and most times the problem had cleared!
My money is on a coil pack or map sensor.
Take it to any local garage they can plug your car into their computer and probably tell you whats up. DO NOT goto fords for this!0 -
