Thanks everyone - it will make me even more determined now I know people are watching me!
JP - you are more than welcome to join in - include as many as you want - if by some miracle I clear these early - I have got plenty more to work on too.

Have a ridiculous amount of stuff that could go on ebay so will start to sort through all that - never sold anything on ebay before so wish me luck!

e-bay can be a bit dodgy these days, try amazon and a car boot sale.

How have you got on with ebay penguin. Like RAS said ive had some problems with selling in the past. I wouldnt put buy it now on items again as i listed a load of things last year that got bought that day by people who were trying to get me to post the items before payment came through. Ive not had probs with normal auctions though.
How are you getting on with your targets? we are all still checking up on you!DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
good luck with it penguin and jp
its nice to pay things off but you have to have something now and again otherwise you will go mad so an odd take away here or there would do you good - and you will enjoy it all the more
iv had a bit of a blip this last month with my cc and argos card but iv cut up the cc and am paying bigger amounts off the argos card to get it back on track
i had a big incentive today as when iv checked my online bank iv noticed my 2 tsb loans are both in the 3000s and not the 4000s now so that has cheered me up
my aim is to clear argos by xmas but if i dont its cos iv paid more off my beneficial cc (33% interest from next month  ) still smarting and fuming about that

Hi everyone - thanks for your good wishes.
Havent attempted Ebay yet. RAS good idea - will probably attempt a car booty rather than ebay for safetys sake! Have listed about 20 books on Amazon - got so much to go on there so will be kept busy for a while!
Have paid a bit more off the debts so they are coming down slowly.
Well done on your bingo win JP - thats a great start to the month.
Totals now
Comet - [strike]153.43[/strike] 53.43
Dorothy Perkins - 398.12
MBNA - [strike]1850.00[/strike] 1700.00
Total - [strike]2401.55[/strike] 2151.55
Need to pay 400.00 a month off them to meet the target and have so far done 250.00 in 2 weeks so pretty much on target!
Comet card will be gone in the next 10 days or so which will be a big boost!
Thanks for looking in everyone x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Have paid off the remaining 50.00 odd pound so the Comet card (and its horrible 29.9% APR) is now clear! 17 creditors originally now down to 8 yeay!
Next one to work on is the Dorothy Perkins Card which will hopefully be clear by the middle of September leaving about 3 months to do the MBNA. So onwards and upwards (or downwards in this case!) New totals are:
