Should I push my luck?

Hey all, I hope I've posted this in the right area...
I'm in month 16 of an 18-month flext35 contract with t-mobile. When I renewed my contract all that time ago I was given a big discount, from £25.99 down to £12.50, plus upgrade. I thought that was too good to be true so I phoned up to confirm and by (I think) an admin error, I was given a further discount. My monthly bill is only £7. What a stroke of luck!
This price and package suits me perfectly. I'm totally happy.
I'm about to renew my contract. Two questions: Really I just want a phone upgrade - should I push my luck and ask for a better price per month too or should I be happy with my good fortune at £7 per month?
Also - because I'm paying so little per month, will it affect the range of phones I'll be entitled to upgrade to?
Thanks in advance...

Give it a try, you'r a good customer and paid regularly. But, I would expect that they will contact you shortly to offer you a new phone so possibly wait for a month or so before contacting them.
lucky you sounds like an exelent deal so farJust A Grumpy old Jedi0 -
I'd have thought that as soon as your contract expired the price would revert to £35 a month, as you're not in contract any more and the offer was for the length of the contract only. So expect your first bill after the contract ends to be £35.
If you want the same deal, I assume you'll have to call them when you're due to upgrade and tell them you want to continue that deal, but would also like a new phone.Sigless0 -
IIRC their discounts are usually labelled as "for life" although they do then say if you change contract you lose the discounts.
£7 for a £35 contract seems a bit too good imho and unlikely to be matched. On that sort of deal I would ring up and ask to renew on exactly the same terms and see if they will do it, I doubt you will get any more off. I'd just be looking to see what phones they can offer.*I reserve the right to have an opinion, the right to change this opinion and the right to be wrong.*Hope that helps.
