Just found this comment from somebody on topcashback website:

BEWARE: Thought offer was great, gave two separate gift memberships, 2 x £20 tracked within 24hrs, but after 2months, only one £20 was awarded. Very disappointed, as now too late to submit for missing cashback.

    I hope Quidco is better!

I worked out that for a family of 4, if you take out 4 individual memberships and receive £20 Quidco cashback for each, you are only actually spending a total of £20.50 for family membership. (£34.50 + £34.50 + £15.75 + £15.75 = £100.50. Less £80 cashback = £20.50)

But does it work? Has anyone managed to buy 2 or more memberships and got £20 Quidco cashback for each?

I took 2 adult and 1 junior memberships separately thru Quidco. One £20 has validated, 2 have declined. Don't know whether I can query it with Quidco- anybody know?

You could try submitting an enquiry, it wouldn't hurt. You may be successful, but there's no guarantee unfortunately.

I was just wondering- when you initially applied, did you clear the cookies between each one? Some people are saying you need to do that- I thought maybe that was why some of yours were declined.

I have applied for 2 memberships and both have tracked. If I only receive one £20 then I will still be happy as I will only be paying £11.50 for both myself and my son's membership for 1 year which is still a good deal.

yet with so many being declined I'm a bit concerned.

Firstly cashback is not guaranteed and quidco make this quite clear.
Do NOT buy something if it's dependent on cashback.

Secondly you aer not meant to buy things for other people on quidco.
You should open another account and pay the £5 admin fee per year for each account.
Maybe the ones being declined are the ones where people are abusing the system?
I don't know for sure, jsut a suggestion.

My second membership is a gift one that I am buying for a child so don't know if that would count as buying for someone else?

I am a bit of a twit... I wanted to buy individual memebrship for each member of my family that needs it. This is because in the holidays, my children stay with each set of Grandparents, the grandparent all have individual membership, but not the one where you can take kids, so I wanted to get them their own so that theycould go with me or someone else.
When I followed the link, I didn't understand why I couldn't put in their date of birth... I only realised the next day (when I wasn't so tired...) that I had been filling in the details of the child, in the section, who was purchasing....
So I purchased a family membership, with one adult (£46). I still felt that if the quidco is received, then this is a good deal.
However last night, I managed to buy membership for my children individually, the quidco has tracked for each. (I cleared cookies in between)
Can I cancel the initial family membership? as it is unecessary with them having their own membership, and take out a single membership for myself? Again through quidco?
I am asking this, as if the quidco, does not get paid, I will be direct debited for each membership, but this will end up costing me an awful lot. I am prepared for the quidco not to come through on all the memberships, but if this is the case, I would rather have the single for myself, as appose to the family, as it's £12 cheaper and every penny counts!!
Does anyone know, how to cancel it, or have any info!!!!
    Thanks

Also, does anyone know how long it takes to 'validate'?
:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin
