I think it's because it is free if you are under 25 and go through quidco but quidco isn't guaranteed. Does anyone know if you can use this membership in Scotland trust sites?

Found an answer to my own question you can use this to get into all NT Scotland places free, thought I would go ahead with this offer now since I am 2 weeks off my 26th birthday but the website is experiencing technical difficulties.

I think this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=831225 is the loophole they were meaning. It would still be cheaper (free if quidco tracks) for me to go through National Trust England so thanks for your post.

I worked out that for a family of 4, if you take out 4 individual memberships and receive £20 Quidco cashback for each, you are only actually spending a total of £20.50 for family membership. (£34.50 + £34.50 + £15.75 + £15.75 = £100.50. Less £80 cashback = £20.50)

But does it work? Has anyone managed to buy 2 or more memberships and got £20 Quidco cashback for each?

I'm going to buy 2 separate memberships, I am buying mine first and see if it tracks then will buy ds hopefully that will also track. I wonder if quidco will still pay out when the membership is less than the cashback.

Same kinda post on HUKD and EVERYONES tracked even though the payout is more than the fee. Individual memberships are therefore a better idea than a family membership.

Unfortunately I can't take advantage of it as I my family are NT members every year with a DD arrangement. May change this next year!

Don't forget guys though that they are a great charity so don't forget to buy merchandise/refreshments when you go!!!!!!

Sounds like a good offer but if the low quality 'Made in China' binoculars lasts longer than three months, you're lucky.
