Double glazing quote

I am in the trade and have seen a system for real small panes but it didnt take off. Most cheap windows are produced with internal georgian "canes" normally white aliuminium bars between the two sheets of glass, only problem is it stays brilliant white-never gets rained on so quickly looks brighter than the surrounding frame.....a dead give away for cheap double glazing. For good quality, I would expect to pay about £5-600 per window - size of window actually makes very little difference to cost, there's the same amount of work in constructing the window and the fitting. So I would say for your 5 windows, you'd probably pay between £2500 and £3k
I think georgian bars are almost always done in upvc with internal moulding either with or without external stick on bars over the top. I've seen individual double glazed panes on wooden windows, but not on upvc. I would imagine they would up the cost quite a bit because each pane would have to be its own little sealed unit.
plant on bars dont have this problem , however they are proned to becoming unstuck and few companies guarantee them, but there are companies who do.
They use georgi clips to clamp the bars to the glass, interlock the bars into a grille and then tape them into place, yep they are more expensive than most but you get what you pay for.
