getting an O2 PAC code (PAYG) - possible at the weekend
Hi,
My son is keen to get a pac code to switch from O2 to three.
Yesterday late pm we tried calling CS from the landline, but after a ~50p call and 10 minutes - no answer.
We then sent an email (via the account site, so complete with all security details like other enquiries) and were given a different (premium) number to call. We tried this but after another 50p call we had a recorded message (top up/lost phone baring) with on option related to pac, and a reminder that CS was only Mon-Fri.
We then tried calling an landline number from saynoto0870 but sadly were asked to call CS.
Does anyone know if O2 dish out PAC codes at the w/end, and if so the best/cheapest way to contact them (also have o2 contract mobile, landline etc).
I have a strong distaste for companies using premium rate for calls where there is any prospect of queueing - and for a telecoms company it's just opportunism.
Thanks
