mini cash isa limit now £4000?

hi all,
i heard that you can now put £4000 in a mini cash isa. can anyone tell me if this has taken effect, or when it will if at all? can i now put in that extra £1000 into my (first direct eISA) account?

    I think it is only with the stocks and shares mini ISA that you can put in 4000, not the mini cash ISA.

    The Mini Stocks and Shares ISA limit was increased from £3K to £4K wef 6 April this year after the demise of the £1K max. Mini Insurance ISA ( aka baggers special :)).

    The Mini Cash ISA limit remains at £3K.

    If you have a mini cash ISA, you can still do upto £4000 in a mini equity ISA.
