O2's 3G iPhone upgrade offer - can I get two iPhones for the price of one?

I notice O2 are offering existing iPhone owners a free 3G iphone when they come out in a couple of weeks. This is probably a non-starter as it seems too good to be true, but if I take out a contract now/upgrade my current contract (handily finishes on the 10th of July), would I be elligible for this offer?

It sounds ridiculous I know, but ive been unable to track down the full t&c's on O2's website.

Firstly, Apple stopped producing iPhones at the 6 million mark, and emptied the channel before announcing the iPhone 3G. So you'll struggle to get ahold of one in the first place. Secondly, it's only available free if you're on £45 or £75 a month tariffs, otherwise it's £99. Thirdly, the full terms and conditions aren't available yet AFAIK, so it may very well be restricted to existing customers who had an active price plan before the 3G iPhone was announced.

    So probably not.
