I tend to go to farmfoods for the general juice/crisps/biscuits and a few frozen items (MUCH cheaper...and all brand names)...then Tesco for the rest of my shopping
I like Morrisson's, but they have a larger variety, so I end up buying more stuff, so not very moneysaving for me.:oCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. I honestly think this is the problem, the bigger the supermarkets are now getting, the more money you spend!!!
Bring back gateways and kwik save, all is forgiven!!!:A:silenced:0 -
i go to almost every shop and it is getting a bit much really, on the bus it is tiring and boring. hence, i have started to order online once a month for heavy basics and a few treats. I don't live near an Asda so i was pleasantly surprised with the low prices and can recommend it as a way of saving money, because there are no temptations after you press the button.
netto and aldi good but not for the whole shop.0 -
Tried Aldi for the first time last week-bought a chicken that hadn't been cleaned properly-it had grit and corn all round its rear end and inside the skin-yeuch!
Put me right off.
Usually shop at Asda but my bills have been shooting up in there too.

Morrisons was the shop of choice today. Only spent £89:rotfl: + £15 saver stamps!! This shop has probably got to be the best mid range in Skeg because A) They only sell groceries (no aisles of temptation to pass before start shopping for real) and
it isn't too big but still has plenty of choice!!
However since it changed from safeways it has become more crammed (they've added extra aisles where obviously there really isn't the room) and so very annoyingly busy (even at 9am!)
Now I remember why I go to the Tesco's!!
However am going to persever and try them again next week........
Still not convinced about Lidl, can you really get everything you need for family of 4 there??? And I went, not to long ago for quick loaf of bread....is it really that much cheaper??? I'm not convinced.....:silenced:0 -
I have no connection with either of these organisations (except that of a customer now and again) but Which seem to think that one of them is a good deal.
