Pipex Yet Again.thought It Was Sorted

jOINED pipex NOV.2006. Set up direct debit and for some strange reason they never took any money from my account until I got an email demanding 15 months all at once. After several harrassed phone calls they admitted it was all there fault but wanted the money. I was advised to cancel direct debit and try and sort it out. After going on forums I got email addresses for bigwigs in pipex. so emailed them. Lo and behold after basically threatening them with forums/newspapers/ISPA ETC I finally got a phone call in April this year from JONATHAN MANN saying he would sort it out for me. Apologised on behalf of pipex, offered me a reduced rate broadband[or so I thought until I read broadband was cheaper anyway] refund on overpayment and three months payment free for APRIL/MAY/JUNE. now someone in pipex cannot add up because I got an email this week saying they would take direct debit on 21/6 for broadband. Emailed them immediately to say they couldnt as per agreement and 3 emails later still no sense from them. Got an email today saying a cheque had been approved for overpayment but still no answer to my original email regarding direct debits. So telephoned new no. and after 10 mins gone through to customerservices only to be cut offf by them and again after 7 mins. Emailed them again to say this and to state I was going to send them bill for phone call and my wasted time. All I can say is pipex customerservices must be run by monkeys or something???ANY ADVICE

Unfortunately you are one of many of us who have fallen foul of Pipex and their weird and wonderful ways!! I have only been with them since February 2008, have posted several threads already on this forum, cancelled my DD and threatened them with everything I can think of. I have contacted Watchdog because I consider they are a devious, conniving, c--p company and how they get away with treating customers the way they do is beyond me! The only thing I have achieved is to raise my blood pressure by trying to communicate with them (which costs me money each time) so I wish you well in sorting out your problems with them. Trust me, you are not alone.0 -

No you are not alone ! I've moved on but my Pipex/Tiscali billing problem continues :mad:0
