I'm sure you do, I find it odd that since you obviously want to help me, that you don't phone them for me. - exclamation mark witheld -davetrousers wrote: »I just find it odd that you want some information, but won't go to the source!0 -
So you're saying you can send as many parcels as you want as long as the weight doesn't exceed 10kg for £13.630
-
This will be for consignments of several parcels going to the same address (even if it doesn't say so). Some carriers just add the weights together, but they will treat them individually (and charge individually) if they are going to different addresses. It says "multiple packages" upto 10Kg in the T&Cs below, says nothing about going to the same destination.0 -
City Link next day is £11.99 + Vat booked through Interparcel. Includes £50 insurance that can be increased to £1000. Booking cut off time 12 noon for same day collection.0

Oh dear wig
sarcasm at it's best or not.
Thankfully there are helpfully and patient people out there who will not put down others. And yes it is best to go to those who know i.e in your case citylink. When I'm ill i go to the doctor and not ask the butcher what is wrong with me..... (forgive my sarcasm) i await your sarcastic reply if any ..Everyone in their own way will try to help and advice others.so please lets not put down or give unhelpful sarcastic replies as it helps no one.NO!MY NAME IS NOT WORZELIM JUST FEELING SLIGHTLY ROUGH TODAY0 -

Hopefully you can see that telling someone to "go and phone the company" is not helpful. It is an obvious thing to be done, so it does not need to be pointed out. I consider it as rude and unhelpful as the other oft used phrase "google is your friend". The first time he said it to me in this thread you will note that I was restrained in my reply, I acknowledged the comment and made it clear that this was not a solution for me. The second time and third time he said it was obviously not intended as genuine help offered - if that's the caliber of his "help" I for one would prefer he took his help elsewhere.0 -

City Link does not have the tariff on their website, this can't be a very sound business move on their part.
Most courier companies don't have the 'real' charges on their website. Especially for business customers. To send a 20kg parcel via Parcelforce their website shows something close to £30 and the same service via Paypal is £11, less with some resellers and can be under £5 for some high volume users.
Its a matter of negotiating the best rate which they don't give on their website.
I agree it isn't a sound business move to not clearly show your charges..0 -
You still think you can send as many packages weighing up to a cumulative 10kg you want to any destination(s) for £13.63?
Good luck. lol.0 -

martindow has suggested not, I'm prepared to take his word for it. I'd still like to hear from anyone who actually knows what their charges are or can be for certain customers.0
