city link charges?

City Link does not have the tariff on their website, this can't be a very sound business move on their part.
Can anyone point me to their tariff, and or tell me how much a volumetric weight parcel of 2.7Kg would cost within UK on next day 17:30 delivery?
All I can see on their delivery options is "next day" don't they offer anything else like 2 or 5 day?
thanks

We used to use city link at work, but they changed their tariffs, so there was a minimum charge. This basically meant that you need to send a few parcels each week for them to be an option!.....0

Ok, so can anyone tell me (assuming the sender sends sufficient parcels to cover the minimum charge) what the cost would be for a subsequent parcel of weight approx 2.7kg Next day 17:30.

Why does it have to be city link? You will be looking at something like £50!
And you probably need to have an account with them.
Phone them up and ask......0 -
As above, you have to have an account with agreed terms.
I once phoned TNT to get a quote for a 8kg parcel from india, they wanted £650!0 -
It's not going to be £50 for one parcel of 2.7kg (after sending lots of parcels to acheive the minimum). I was hoping someone would have a link to a webpage with the charges, or someone who reads it is an account holder and has the information in front of them.
It has to be City Link, because that is the information I am after.
I'd rather not phone them, thought I'd ask here (obviously), to see if I got someone who knew.
I have "google-found" their international prices and the "sameday" (UK) prices, strangely, although those price sheets (I found in google) are on their website, there was no link to them (perhaps there is after account holders log in). Perseverance led me to find this
http://www.city-link.co.uk/services/ukservices_pricing.php
Reading that It seems "next day" which by a process of elimination must mean by 17:30 costs £13.63 for multiple packages upto 10kg plus 59p per kilo thereafter. Which is amazingly cheap assuming you have say 5 or more parcels going out. And the answer to the question therefore has to be that a 2.7kg box would cost £1.80 to send but in reality the cost would be the total cost divided by # of parcels.
BUT, are those prices subject to some sort of quarterly account charges on top... anyone?0 -
Phone up City Link and get the info.straight from the horse's mouth!.....0

I'm sure you are trying to be as helpful as you can, but trust me, although your first post was useful, since then, your contribution to the thread has been steadily declining on the useful scale. Feel free to phone them on my behalf if you really want to, until then I will wait and see if anyone here knows if there are any more account charges on top of the delivery rates, I found and linked to in the post above.
I just find it odd that you want some information, but won't go to the source!.....0
