Deals, do you have lots of 'friends' in odd relationships?

I think this depends on the individual relationship, I used to see someone that always had £1000 in a hidden place in the kitchen, and from day one if I needed money, he told me just to take it (I'd pay him back in other ways ;) ).

It is back to this same thing that your other 'friend' seems to lack - trust.
    Gone ... or have I?
  • On the whole, anything without permission isn't great but you've really not given enough detail to comment properly..did he spend money on the card or did he need it for ID etc?
From the other threads you have posted it sounds like you've got a few issues with your other half that you are not happy about and it doesn't sound like you trust him-if he is taking your credit card without permission possibly with good reason.
From the snippets you have posted it doesn't sound like a fun place to be, or perhaps they are all totally unrelated things and I've got the wrong end of the stick.

If my girlfriend took the wrong credit card and ruined my MSE balance transfer deal by spending on it or getting cash there would be hell to pay!!

ask to borrow your credit card instead of just taking it out of your bag and giving an excuse you were busy....?

No, wouldn't worry me in the slightest. ;) But then we're married and have one pot of money. Thus it wouldn't make any difference what card was physically used.

So IMO it all depends on how the two people involved feel about it.

If you have been together a long time, it's fine.

I often use my husbands cards to shop - online of course - and am also here to hide his bank statements as he is out at work very early.

I am also very clued up on explaining about 'phishing'.

My husband has been a victim of this several times.
