ask to borrow your credit card instead of just taking it out of your bag and giving an excuse you were busy....?

Likewise, when you stick the knife in his "man sac", it was only because he was too busy to ask.
He shouldn't be in the bag in the first place. ITS MINE. Secondly its my credit card and thirdly if he can't budget, tough luck.... Whoops..... naughty knife. You okay dear?? Just a spot of blood. You won't do it again now, will you???0 -
I would've thought that using someone's credit card without permission was a criminal offence. Having a relationship with the thief makes very little difference.0

That's shocking!! He should have asked or gone without.
Taking your card is theft and really rude! I'd consider it almost dumping grounds!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I'm very interested as to what was so important that they took your card??? If it was petrol or something i'd possibly go a bit easier on them...if it was something frivolous - they'd be suffering if it was my other half!!Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0

what's the big deal?
he gonna pay you back?
what's the problem then?
sure if it's a relationship in it's infancy, but if a long established relationship, no real problem.0 -
It's a problem if you don't like it basically. In an emergency I'd assume I can dip into DH's wallet and I know he'd probably be the same about my purse but I'd trust him to judge the emergency (eg window cleaner turns up looking paid, fair enough). He'd always tell me afterwards though and vice versa...0

well if you don't like, tell him and don't leave your purse around if you can't trust him.
am assuming OP's fella told her afterwards?
completely different if the bill just turned up and he hadn't said anything.
i've got access to about £40k worth of credit cards, would have no issue if my g/f used them (mainly cos i know i can trust her and that if she used them, it'd be for a good reason - nno money til pay day, etc etc)0 -

jesus, ok then a few more questions.
1) how much is it for?
2) is he likely to pay it back?
3) what was it for?
4) how long you been in a relationship with him?
@ kazwookie - you don't need a pin of you use it online/phone.0 -
