Lol, thank you both, that's brilliant! I don't know I ever survived without this site! :rotfl:

Loving the idea of stewed redcurrants as fake blood - Ryan would LOVE that! :T

Sammy, Abel & Cole is an organic veg delivery company. There's an offer on Quidco where you get £10 for signing up and ordering from them. Their 'small' organic box is £10.95, so effectively (providing Quidco pay out) you are getting a box of organic veg for 95p. Mine tracked fairly quickly, and they delivered exactly when they said they would, so I'm pretty pleased with it.

Can't moan at a box of veg for 95p. I have to say my Asda very rarely has a very exciting range of veg!

I did once try to make toad in the hole, and honestly, if I had made a few more, I could have built my extension from them! :rotfl:

Redcurrant fake blood compote made! :)

I haven't got anything to have it with at the moment (haven't got any natural yoghurt, and the only ice cream we have is Neapolitan - not sure it would go with that), so I think I will freeze it for now.

I've got some shortcrust pastry in the freezer, and a packet of creme patissiere (I think that's what it's called - the custardy stuff :o) that my Mum and Dad brought back from France, so I could use it on that, but I seem to remember promising to make Ryan a 'torby cake' (that's what he used to call it when he was little.....strawberry cake, or rather, a strawberry, custardy flan type thing), so I'd better not.
