Morning - oooh, I've just done a survey and they are sending me some (oh...better not say exactly what it is, in case I'm not allowed) 'baby products' to test - I don't know which brand yet, only that it's a well known brand. So I've been paid for the survey AND I get a week of free 'product'....result!

It's that time of year again when I start to look forward to my sharesave maturing (3 weeks to go), but the state of the share price at the moment is pretty depressing. I will hang on until October/November, but if they are still not looking great, I will sell them anyway, because thanks to the lovely people at the HMRC (who have sent my renewal notice and really do seem to want to keep sending me money despite everything being correct and up to date :j), I will have paid enough off the loan by then for the sharesave to still make me debt free. :)

Beanie - Leeds Bradford airport is ALWAYS a bumpy ride! They built it on top of a hill, so it's really exposed to the elements, and on the very odd occasion I have flown, I have had to be redirected to land at another airport (due to the airport being closed because of high winds) two times out of three.

Did you have a nice time? We've missed you!

    DancingFairy - thanks very much :D he's a bit of a star really. :A

Forgot to say as well, do you remember I had a meeting with Ryan's head teacher last week? One thing I offered to do was to produce a 'passport' which gives very basic details about his condition and major difficulties, so that any new teachers/teaching assistants he works with can find out a bit about him at a glance. I finished it, and took it into school a few days ago, and Ryan's autism outreach workers looked at it too - they loved it, and are taking a copy to give to other professionals and parents they work with, to suggest they do something similar. The school are also going to distribute it to anyone who comes into contact with Ryan.

I am soooo pleased that something we have done to help Ryan will help other children too.

Yes, chocolate free for 4 days now - I did have a mishap with a jaffa cake, but realised half way through it that I was eating chocolate and promptly gave the other half to Tasha!

We bought Natasha her first pair of proper shoes yesterday (Clarks purists look away now :o). They were from Ethel Austin and cost £7. They are leather, with a nice grippy sole, and are white buckle shoes with a little pink sparkly butterfly (not as naff as they sound, honest...lol!). They are a really good fit on her - supportive but not tight, and with a bit of room for growth at the front.

Anyway, this morning, I left Natasha in the living room while I nipped in the kitchen to make breakfast, and then came back in to find my darling daughter sitting on the floor with her shoes and a biro, merrily drawing all over them.

So....todays 'tip of the day' (a la Obi), is:

Hairspray and a babywipe will remove biro from white leather without damaging it! :T

(the biro is still there, but so faint you can't see it!)
