Faster payments - who can send and receive

Hsbc to Ulster bank worked a few weeks back. Ulster to Hsbc did it for a small test amount (£20)

Yes they can.

One oddity re Nationwide is that bill payments sent from an ATM (appear to) go via BACS rather than FP :cool:

Barclays send their standing orders by Faster Payments, which is why some standing orders at the weekend go out on the Monday as opposed to the Saturday.

Intelligent Finance (if.com) still can't send or receive FP. It is part of hbos now lloyds group, but one of the bits that must be sold eventually, so I guess that maybe the reason they haven't implemented yet.

M&S Money (Marks & Spencer 40-12-54 Everyday saver) send and receive faster payments


They only allow one nominated account

"Your withdrawal has been approved and (subject to our normal fraud checks) should reach your nominated account today."

It is instant and was in my account elsewhere within seconds

Hi folks, first posts updated with your news, also Post Office added (new account) but apparently doesn't send or receive faster payments.
