I heard that pouring white wine on red wine can help (adding insult to injury I think). Try Sparkle's idea.

    I'll google it for you.

Unless you do what a friend of mine did.. spilt a glass of red wine on another friend's cream carpet - thought "oh no, quick, grab the white wine!".. grabbed a bottle, opened it, poured it on the carpet... only it wasn't white wine... it was a whole bottle of red!:rotfl:

Thanks for that hun xx OH is going to get the carpet cleaner out which we bought when we got the carpets fitted as we thought it would save us money...........we have definately had our moneys worth out of it as it has come to our rescue on many a "spilled beverage" occassion.

Its the wall I am worried about.

No probs, just asked OH and he thinks we bought it in Lakeland, if you have one near you. I've heard white wine can do the trick too although it might make it smell! :o

Does anyone else think sending any colour bottle of wine after some red on the floor is a waste?

Hehe... it didn't go down too well, especially as owner of the flat was actually asleep in the other room at the time, and got up in the morning to a living room that looked like a murder scene :rotfl:

Classic:rotfl: I have poured some bicarb on the carpet just to soak up some of the wine then OH is going to blitz it with the cleaning machine:D Nearly picked up the "hundreds and thousands" as it is in the same type of container:rolleyes:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
