Not really as you will have to go there to get the NotW on Sunday so pick up a small item of your grocery list and collect a clubcard point.0

Just a reminder......if you got the £5 coupon from last week's NOTW, it expires today, Saturday June 28th! You'll need a new coupon from Sunday's NOTW if you're shopping at Tesco tomorrow!0

Hi, I discovered this thread on Friday, and printed off vouchers, ready for my shop today. I even went out and purchaed a NOTW to get my £5 voucher.
When I got to the till I was told that I could only use one product voucher if I hadn't purchased the product - When the SA called a supervisor over she confirmed that the Tesco Policy was only 1 voucher when the item isn't be purchased.
Is this right? My local store is Weston Super Mare.
Many thanks.

The policy is upu can use coupons one of each type but 2 of that type if you buy the product eg buy milk use 2 milk coupons don't buy milk use 1 coupon.0 -
I was told by customer services, the SA and the supervisor that the Tesco policy is that you can use coupons if you purchase the product - one per product.
But if you use coupons and you haven't purchased the product that the tesco policy is now only one per transaction. This is my query. I had some of the magazine tokens, go cat tokens, etc and they'd only accept one.
The SA told me she'd happily scan them all through but they get warnings if they do more than 1 per transaction.
From reading this thread I didn't think this was correct, can anyone recommend what I should do?

I would email HO for their up to date policy then print off their reply and take it with you when you next go shopping.
I did this last month & I cant see that the policy would have changed that much.
You are right it is usually 1 per item if you havent purchased it.0 -

They haven't changed the policy, it's still one of each coupon but many stores don't know it. My local store didn't know it and it took me 6 months to get them to believe my emails from Dundee and to introduce the real policy (they are now fine but I'm well-known in there, and I know the Supervisors by name, lol!).
You can try emailing Dundee but don't be surprised if their reply is the usual ambiguous blurb 'we accept a coupon if you haven't bought the product'. It's that wording that confuses the issue really, some stores have always read it as 'just one coupon'.
If you get an ambiguous reply you would need to email back and say 'thanks, could you just clarify that you mean 'one of each product' coupon, and I understand there is no limit to the total number of coupons that can be used (if all different, in-date and not specific to tesco or any other store). I would appreciate it if you could confirm that my understanding is correct as some stores say different things'. (Or words to that effect...).
Finally take the emails to CS desk in your store and ask to speak to someone about using coupons. Don't do your shopping first and don't take your chances holding up the queue at a till; if you want to get the matter sorted out you need to see a Manager - or six - at the CS desk up front. Don't be surprised if they are curt and dismissive, some really hate coupons!
You may need to stick your neck out pretty far...it's up to you to decide if the high profile is worth it for you (it was for me, but many people don't want the confrontation or they worry about scrutiny of their clubcard points, which is fair enough). :cool:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
