My local TESCO Metro has all the items marked down on Sunday which are going out of date. So I stock up my freezer.
With £5 off as well I am going to save a bit of cash this Sunday.
Used the last coupon and got clubcard points on the pre £5 deducted amount.0 -
You should not get clubcard points on the pre-discount price, probably a computer bug in the software, perhaps it gives the points on the price and they scanned the clubcard first then the voucher and the till is not programmed to pick this up, most likely. That being the case if you use a self service checkout scan your clubcard first!
Tesco sometimes send out £3 off £30 spend or £5 off £50 spend vouchers with their Clubcard statements, it is worth noting those ones, unlike the News of the World ones do not exclude fuel (except fuel from a Tesco store that has an Esso garage... that is most commonly the express stores I believe) you will clearly see the name Esso at the site if it is one.If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0 -

If I am reading you correctly, you are saying that you only get points on the actual amount you pay after coupons etc? Thats not correct.
You get clubcard points on the total charge after bogofs & multibuys. For example, total before bogofs: £37.50, total after bogofs £33.50, then you will get points for the £33.
The £5 NOTW voucher is just the same as using cash, card or MOCs as far as the till is concerned. I have many many receipts which prove it!!
Comp wins: Jan: Cuddly Iguana, Disney Watch Feb: Nothing!! March: Love Curse of the Rumbaughs book April: Nothing!! May: Years free cinema tickets0 -
But unlike cash, you cannot use £5 NOTW voucher to buy gift card.littlemissjojo wrote: »The £5 NOTW voucher is just the same as using cash, card or MOCs as far as the till is concerned. I have many many receipts which prove it!!

I had the £5.00 off coupon and was given another coupon by a friend, so me and hubby did our shopping today with a trolly each, so we put half the shopping through and he paid then the other half through and i paid so we saved £10.00 result!Happiness is not having what you want...but wanting what you have!!!0

To clarify my bill was £41 less the £5 is £36, but I got 41 clubcard points. My clubcard card was swiped first then the purchases then the coupon finally my payment card.0

THE TIMES dated friday JUNE 27th stated that TESCO will be reducing 3,000 items as of monday in an attempt to win back customers, and ASDA has promised to sell ten staple items, including bread, eggs, and butter for 50p as of today but take it will be there own brand?
