Hi Tony,
You may get more replies on the mobile phones board, so I hope that you don't mind if I move your thread over there.

I'm not the best with this so am looking for some advie please. Would it work with a W800? If not say a p910, then what exactly would I need in order to turn the phone into a Sat Nav device, any idea on costs please?
Thanks,

As far as I know, you need a Bluetooth GPS receiver and the tomtom software for it. I will proberly end up buying the tomtom software preinstalled on a 256mb card (off ebay) and then seek the GPS receiver.something missing0

Hi,
i have a similar query....
i have a moto a1000 and looking for a GPS reciever and software. i was told that since a1000 is a symbian based phone only route 66 supports.
i also came across in one of the chat forums that software can convert ngps to gps and then i can use the maps by downloading them.
also can anyone help to get an unlocking code for a1000.
cheers....sale0 -
I got mine via eBay for around £50 inc P&P. It's the model that is rebadged by dozens of different companies (the one that has three lights at the lower end of the top half with a picture of a satellite next to one and 'BT' next to another - I think one of it's most commonly known names is BT-77).
It seems to get good reviews from those that known anything about GPS devices (especially given the relative cheap price of the unit). It's the only GPS device I've used so even though I'm happy with it (it's been a life-saver) what do I know?!0
