A certain buyer now leaving negative for having to wait for feedback!!

There is a buyer who is now leaving negatives for " Had to wait for feedback" Even if the item is O.K. sent correctly and postage fine, they have left a negative for not immediate feedback!

Ebay it seems canot do anything about it. This does not seem fair.

Surely if an item is fine then you canot leave a negative for something that is supposedly voluntary ? (feedback)
What do you think. I have blocked them already. Even though I always leave feedback . What if I was 5 mins late or did not leave it the minute he bought the item!!
Any comments.

They obviously do not understand that feedback is voluntary...

It is removable though, and it's not the first time it has happened, but normally takes a few calls to Support to sort it out. It's removed on the basis that "it is not relevant to the specific eBay transaction"

I'm not afraid to name and shame the ID - This is the feedback they have left for others - http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=a.m.h1972&ftab=FeedbackLeftForOthers

    Block Bidder link - http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin

Wow! Someone didn't get laid on the 16th :D .

I've only ever bought and I've always considered whether neutral or negative feedback is fair, but some people do need consequences otherwise they just behave like jerks. Perhaps separating the seller and buyer feedback scores of each eBayer would create a middle ground.

eBay should ust get rid of feedback altogether - it's meaningless for buyers, and DSR's (for all their flaws) seem to be used much more as a performance indicator.

I do not expect a patronising green badge every time I buy something at Tesco's, and I'm pretty sure they don't expect one back from me either.

Tesco isnt distance selling (unless online)

You need all the tools you can get when you cant `see` the seller, although i agree the feedback system is being abused

Not for this one. If it's a book or something cheap, I'll just glance at the %, but if it's an expensive purchase I'll read the comments and even check to see what previous buyers of the item I want have said.

Without feedback I'd be very wary of using eBay, even if the PayPal refund is 100% guaranteed.

The person is very undesirable to have as a buyer, leaving multiple sellers a bad feedback just for not giving feedback is dreadful. I would try Ebay again and see what they say when you point out that you are not the first by a long way!

Things are just getting worse, daily. I have today had to fork out on a refund because a buyer had got the item and then decided it wasn't what he wanted after all.
    Loving the dtd thread. x
