Unlock Samsung E400...

Is there an inexpensive way to unlock the above? I found a way to temporarily unlock it however the handset re-locks after switching it on again.

One of these is a generic code the other appears to be the code to unlock Samsung E700.

i have been told they do work on the E400 but not tried myself
