Ok, I am full of questions today lol, but need some opinions:

I have a debt coming to an end, with a family member. Its was a huge amount and should have been paid back a long time ago. They have been very patient with us, and understood that things were tough. The debt ends next week, and I would like to do something to say thank you. I thought it might be nice to buy a meal out voucher for him and his OH, but I am torn! Is it too much? Can I really afford it? I was thinking £30 voucher would cover a nice meal out, but I am also thinking that that is almost the same amount to clear my next debt. Maybe I could do something else, but what? I shall of course get a nice thank you card :)

Do you have any skills that you may be able to offer them, for example when people do things for me i will often give them a massage as a thank you, or do some typing work for them. Perhaps something like babysitting for them or even cooking a nice meal for them at your house and having a nice get together.

  • Hi cleosmum.... on London travel - I'm pretty sure that you can never pay more with Oyster than you do with any other kind of ticket as they have a price-capping system. Plus cash fares are being heavily disincentivised through the pricing policy...

If I were you I'd get an Oyster card - just make sure you touch and in out each time or you'll get charged for incomplete journeys.

Would be worth checking the website www.tfl.gov.uk just to make sure

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
