Yesterday and once today i got roundup weedkiller in my eyes even though i was standing well away from it when spraying.
My eyes stung alittle last night and just a little earlier when i got a bit in my eyes again, i am wondering whether this would do any serious damage to my eyes like blinding me as i know you're not even supposed to get it on your skin.

Why not try rinsing them with cold water!!0

Ring NHS Direct just to be sure?0

Please say you've rinsed them out already.
How could you get it in your eyes twice; surely once is enough?0 -
Roundup have a full data sheet on their technical website here.
For Eye Contact it says:- Immediately flush with plenty of water
- Continue for at least 15 minutes
- If easy to do, remove contact lenses
- If there are persistent symptoms, obtain medical advice
- No cases of irreversible eye effects could be attributed to glyphosate formulations in an extensive epidemiological survey of reported accidental eye contact with these formulations

m_13 beat me to it as I just found the same document elsewhere.
Wash your eyes really well with plenty of water as suggested. I'd repeat several times a day. Use an eye bath or something like a clean egg cup if you don't have an eye bath and use cold mains water. Boiled water that's cooled back down to room temperature would be best to ensure it's sterile. Also check out your first aid kit (if you have one!) as ours has a sealed pod of emergency eye cleansing solution for this sort of thing. If your vision is affected in any way then go straight to your local A&E and get your eyes checked out.
It does sounds like it shouldn't cause serious damage to your eyes. None of the packaging on roundup mentions wearing eye protection but does say to avoid skin contact.

Wear goggles as you seem to have a problem, just because the instructions don't mention it, does not mean to say you don't have to.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hello yorkshireguy
As kazwookie has suggested, wearing goggles will provide protection in the future.;)
Please see your GP if you are concerned.
I'm afraid that your thread is inviting health advise replies, so I'm closing this thread.
