Best place to get a vodafone contract -new customer
Hi All,
My mobile phone contract is up for renewal, and after trying out pretty much every company over the years, I need to go back to vodafone as they really do have the best coverage in rural areas (I spend a lot of time alone in the New Forest and must have mobile phone signal for safety).
At the moment I use approx 3Mb downloads, 200 texts and 200 minutes per month, though pay for much more than that in my current 3 contract.
From their homesite, there's nothing cheap and suitable (minimum £25 per month for my useage), and I'm also having trouble finding distributors (carphone wharehouse, phones4u etc) that do decent vodafone contracts.
Am happy to sign up for 18 months, will need a new phone but not too bothered which kind, .. anyone got any ideas?
Could I call vodafone direct to get a better /cheaper deal or are they no longer interested in new customers?
WHY are vodafone so expensive comapred to others?
And no I can't jsut get a vodafone PAYG sim and use that when I'm out, its a pain to keep changing SIMS, and swopping phone numbers etc etc etc.
Thanks in advance for any advice

How dissapointing, no replies :-(
So if none of you can help me no this board, can you suggest where I can find out this information please?0 -
Just checked the Vodafone website & it looks pretty limited, in relation to 'special offers'.
Mrs V is due an upgrade from them currently & is waiting to see what they come up with.
she's always gone to them directly, rather than stores (seperate part of the company) to get the best deals.

M2YD usually have good deals on Vodafone0

I'm currently looking at the deals on dialaphone
http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/search.aspx?network=vodafone&minute=0%2c200&txt=0%2c100&term=12&discount=CASH&rowqty=10&sortkey=10&order=0&page=1
I know it involves cahsback but you could flog the phone on ebay and get 60 quid from quidco. So if you went for the j700 it would cost you 50 quid after cashback. If you sold the j700 and got the quidco you could pick up a decent phone.
or its M2YD j700 available on 12 months free with 55 quid from quidco - depends on which one is easier to get the cashback from.............0
