problems with £30 cash back
Hi there
I switched my gas and electricity through moneysupermarket.com back in early Feb and did the option of getting the £30 cash back. I paid my first bill back in April.
i wrote to moneysupermarket.com asking when i would be getting the cash back and got an email back advising me it will be the 12th June 08. But it still isnt in my bank account so i emailed them again. and this time they have said they are having problems and it should be in by the end of the month and if it still isnt in, to contact them.
Just wanted to know if anybody else is having problems?
and if there is anythig i can do to get it sooner.

Yeah I've had trouble getting my £30 from Uswitch as well.
Maybe its because Uswitch dont offer £30 cash back

I've already had my cash back so not eligable to recieve it again. Not aware of any problems but I would just call them and see what they can do. You never know they may be able to sort something out for you?

I used moneysupermarket to initiate a switch in Feb. This was completed in March and I've now had my first quartlerly bill from the supplier, but no sign of the cashback from moneysupermarket. Their website states it depends on the supplier confirming the switch. Usually this takes 2-3 months but can take up to 6!0

Try calling Moneysupermarket... 0845 3451296 ... apologies if that number is not current but found phoning them sorts out issue of non-payment far swifter than email or letter... :cool:

When will payment be made?
Payment will usually be made within 2-3 months (certain cases may take up to 6-months) after you complete your change. This allows sufficient time for the transfer to complete and the supplier to notify us this has happened.

Anyone having problems with obtaining their cashback can call MS.com on 0845 345 1296.
Our systems are programmed to action cashback payments once the energy provider has confirmed the application has been successful. This can take anywhere between 2-3 months as stated in the T&Cs.
If you feel your cashback payment is overdue, please contact us and we will endeavour to push this through ASAP.

I also used Moneysupermarket in February to switch supplier and have not received £30 cashback. Emailed them on 6 May and 10 June, no replies.
Will be phoning them on Monday.

thanks for the phone number. i will call you on monday aswell, because afer two emails, one saying i should get it on 12th june, then the second saying your having problems, that number should hopefiully get something sorted. im keeping my fingers crossed.

i too am waiting for my 30 pounds and my last email from them was this week saying that they are having problems with their system and that iwas being put at the front of the queue or so they say!
i wont hold my breath!
