Onestopphoneshop cashback - at it again

Took out a 12month contract with Orange through OSPS, which OSPS paying £100 cash back every 4 months. In May I applied for my first £100 cashback, and it took 2 months to get the cashback with them saying that they'd been taken over by Carphone Warehouse and were waiting for new cheques to come in.

On the 19th September, I applied for my second cashback. On the 23rd they acknowledged receipt (sent recorded of course) and said the cheque was on its way. I called today 11 days later, and they said the cheque had not been signed yet as they were having problems. They also said I could be waiting up to a month after October 21st...........

Here we go again!

I submitted my claim in September and had a cheque back in the space of a couple of weeks, therefore it may just be a matter of timing - they had some really great deals which has no doubt built up high volume of cheques to be processed (did someone say 20,000 plus to process the last time they ran out of cheques?).

As they have acknowledged, at least you know that it is on its way (albeit eventually!) and 30 days/a month is not too excessive as I think that it said something about 28 days to process in the terms (I can say that in confidence with my cheque in the bank, but had to wait last time).

Im still waiting for the 'automatic' 1st month cashback from my Orange deals in July. Bullsh*t from OSPS about things having been done, about to be done, blah, blah but no cheque. Due to send in my 1st set of 4 month bills in the next day or two and will be attaching a letter before action warning them of small claims court proceedings without further notice, if cheque not in my hands 42 days from signed for receipt by OSPS.
