Free minutes in first month?
Hi,
I just signed a new mobile contract with Orange on 10th June. There are 100 free cross net minutes per month. I made a long (50mins?) call on 11th June and recieved a bill on 18th June dated 12th June. They charge me extra £11 for the excessive call, because only 6 minutes of that long call were quarlified as free allowance for the period between 10th and 11th. I didn't know this before. I thought 100 minutes per month starts from the date I connected. Does anyone know where I am now? Should I pay the extra £11 + VAT? If they are right, does that mean you can not make any call untill you recieve your first bill? Becasue you don't know exactly how many free minutes left.

All Networks only normally include a proportion of the inclusive minutes for a part monthly billing period. On Orange you can call 150 and follow the prompts to find out how many inclusive minutes you have left.0
