Possible to get better deals as new virgin customer?

I've seen threads on here for how to change your deal when you are an existing customer. And obviously I can see why that is more possible because they want to keep you and value your loyalty.
But I just thought is there anyway you can get a better deal from when you start up by ringing in and saying things etc.?
I'm wanting the £26 a month 20mb internet, although if there is a way to cut that price or say get a phone line with it then how can you go about that? Bit of a cheeky question that I expect isn't possible but just trying to keep costs to a minimum at startup.
(Getting 20mb as there is 5 frequent users in the house)
