Cheapest broadband in rural area

Hi there

I live in a remote area of Herefordshire (HR5). Whilst we can get broadband, we don't seem to be able to access the 'cheap deals' that you see advertised. Any suggestions as to the 'cheapest' broadband deals - happy to combine line rental/calls if that helps.

what LLU companies can you use(check samknows.co.uk for your postcodes options) and what 'cheap' options do you think you can't get, I assume you have a BT line access to the providors using thei rinfrastructure?

If you have a BT Line you should be able to get any of Cheapest Standalone Packages mentioned in MSE article.

Thanks for replies. Will check out Sam Knows website. We have a BT line. Don't seem to be able to access packages which combine broadband/line rental/calls. i.e. Sky, TalkTalk, Tiscali.

I'm also very rural and approx 3 miles from small local exchange. Like most out of town/city users there is minimal chance of any LLU operators in the foreseeable future.
Just be aware that you might not achieve lightning speeds from whoever you choose, it's likely not their fault and depends greatly on your location and line quality.
