£700 charges from T-Mobile for internet in one month
Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I could do with my T- Mobile bill, it would be most appreciated.
I had a one month trial on web 'n' walk plus (using my phone as modem) it ended and i didn't realise.
T-Mobile then called and said i had a £700 bill and won't reduce it. This seems very harsh as as it was on the back of a trial, but they siad they had no obligation to let me know.
Any help or suggestions would be great.
Thanks

It's sneaky as hell from them but unfortunately it's true.
The trial was clearly stated I assume and you knew exactly when it ended. The fact you forgot isn't there responsibility
I doubt you can get it reduced, but before you pay its worth sending them a letter explaining the situation and asking for some consideration I guess! You may get a bit of discount but they certainly have no obligation to give you that.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Maybe argue that after the trial you were advised it would roll into a chargeable bundle which would need to be cancelled as opposed to a trail which just ends.
most trials work on this basis as they get money out of you for you signing upto a service (automatically) after enjoying the benefits of a (free) trial.

An unexpected bill of £700 is a hell of blow for most people's budgets. Certainly it would be for any of the people you are dealing with, if it happened to them.
So they will be sympathetic, in a human sense.
They will want the money but what they will also want very much is to keep you as a customer.
The thing that you should definitely do, if nothing else, is to ask them for some time to pay it, in instalments.
From a purely business point of view, it isn't in their own interests to put you into a situation that would result in you being unable to keep paying them money every month. It's foolish to kill a goose that is laying golden eggs. That's a situation that you can manipulate to your advantage in negotiating with them.
I wish you good luck. (I guess a lottery win would help, too.)

T Mobile don't give a damn about their customers. I had exactly the same thing occur, and there customer services is next to useless. About on par with 3.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

When they offer a months trial I always get told that the customer has to phone to cancel if they do not want this to continue and this has always been the case for my customers.
Call again but dont go through to customer services. Go to the option for Upgrades and speak with the retentions department whom can do more for you.
I recently had a customer that was looking at purchasing a USB modem from me on WebNWalk Plus but needed to try it at her holiday home in Dover before signing up for 2 years.
I offered to loan her my USB modem and to just try it with her existing TMob sim, to just see if she could log onto the Internet at her Holiday home. I told her not to do anything else as she may be charged.
She however logged onto Outlook and downloaded 300 emails and 2 weeks later had a £130 data chargefor just over 17mb of data.
I spoke with Dealer support who managed to get the charged reduced to £12.50 which would have been the cost for webnwalk plus.
If you get stuck PM me and I may be able to get it sorted for you.0
