    well done Setmefree - that's a great reduction.
    Thanks for the link Krishna; I signed up, so we'll see how that goes; there isn't very much activity on the site yet.

    I put the kill=a=watt on the yogurt maker yesterday and that came in at a credit crunching 0.007p :D

    It;s on the breadmaker as I type.........

    bread's cooked - go on, have a guess how much the electricity was. A large loaf that took 3 hours 20 in total to make.............

    I'm really shocked at how low it is when you consider how much it would cost to put the oven on to bake a loaf.................

    With energy prices going up at the rate they are, its worth submitting online meter readings regularly. That way you know you're paying the current price for what you use now, not next month's more expensive price! That way, as you get better at saving energy, you should just about be able to keep up with the price rises ;) . If you use BG there's a useful little graph that shows your energy consumption over time, so you can admire the downward trend every time you look at your bill!
