Ive lost all my firefox bookmarks after ive downloaded firefox 3

look at the date of the bookmarkbackup folder files and the bookmark.bak and you will see that the bookmark.bak is much older i think it is done when you install a new version of firefox. The files in bookmarkbackup folder are dated and are usually daily depending on how often you use the PC so import one of those.

Firefox 2.x and earlier: "Bookmarks -> Organize (or Manage) Bookmarks... -> File -> Import... -> from File"
Firefox 3: "Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Import HTML... -> from an HTML File"

just installed it ....it over writes the other Firefox that you have...no need to delete anything...and all my bookmarks are there ...so no problem with my install...:D
