Request from Three (3) for outstanding payment
Hi,
I have just received a letter from 3 requiting immediate payment of 23 pounds (one month).
My account my closed in Sept/October 2007.
Can anyone shed some light on why 3 would of taken nearly 9 months to pay this outstanding balance (which obviously I had no idea of, I was made aware that i had paid the final bill).
They have demanded payment by Friday (7 days from letter). This month has been tight and will be a struggle to pay; can they legally wait nearly 9 months before realising money is outstanding?
Anyone’s similar experience would be really helpful.
Thank you
Laurence
